| RFID Gen 2 and other Labels |
| |
|
An RFID label consists of several layers. The key element in the label is the RFID inlay, which consists of the chip and antenna. Most retailers in the US and the Department of Defense require a 915 MHz Generation 2 (Gen 2) chip in their RFID labels. There are many different antenna designs from the Alien Squiggle to the Avery Dennison triangular antenna. Some retailers will simply specify the chip frequency while others will require both a chip frequency and a specific antenna. We have been able to provide label's in virtually any form required by the retailer and to be in the safe side you should forward us the specified chip, antenna and label size required by your customer.
