In almost all cases, custom roll tags are run through thermal transfer printers which apply the variable information.  Special expertise and equipment is required to cut and stack these tags after printing. The leading manufactured of equipment for this operation is Avery Dennison, and Texpak is an authorized distributor of their printers and stackers.

 For low volume print and cut applications the AP5.4 equipped with a cutter is the ideal solution.  The cutter is stronger than in comparably priced units and the printed tags can be controlled reasonably well.  The cost of this full set up is surprisingly inexpensive.
For large volume production the A95 cutter/stacker is the only realistic option.  It can cut and stack up to 2,500 individual tickets and runs at speeds up to 10" per second.  The A95 can  be used with a variety of printers and the Texpak specialists can tell you which solution is best for you.
